Zuckerberg predicts that in the next five years the metaverse is going to be the next big thing. The creator of Facebook has even rebranded his company Meta, due to this shift in technology and his belief that his social media business will be seen as a metaverse company.
The metaverse is the next step in online interaction, referred to as the Web 3.0 or the next dimension of the internet.
